1. What is Creciendo Juntos?
Creciendo Juntos offers support to families with low income who require childcare services while working, attending work-related training, or pursuing education.
2. How long will it take for my child to be enrolled?
Enrollment times depend on how long it takes the parent to submit the required documentation.
2. How quickly can I set up an appointment if needed.
We offer same day appointments.
3. How do I know if I qualify?
To qualify for subsidized child care services, eligibility and need criteria must be met. Please see the eligibility list and list of needs below as defined by the funding source:

4. Do I have to be a legal resident to be eligible for child care?
No. In this child care program, legal immigration status is not a requirement.
5. What ages do you cover for child care?
Children ages 0 to 13 years of age may be eligible. Up to 21 years of age with a qualifying special need.
6. What area does MAOF cover?
We provide coverage for any resident of Los Angeles County (LA County).

9. Categorical eligibility
Amendments to WIC 10271
WIC Section 10271(a)(1)(A) includes, as a new eligibility category for child care and development programs, a family who has a member of its household who is certified to receive benefits from the following means-tested government programs (links have been provided for more information about each program):
Medi-Cal
CalFresh
California Food Assistance Program
California Special Supplemental Nutrition Program for Women, Infants, and Children (WIC)
The Federal Food Distribution Program on Indian Reservations
Head Start
Early Head Start
WIC Section 10271(a)(1)(A) also provides the Department with the authority to designate any other means-tested government program to include in the new eligibility category; CDSS designates the CalWORKs program as a means-tested government program for the purposes of SB 1047 implementation:
